Surgical Services

Seaford Animal Hospital provides a wide range of surgical services from common preventive procedures like spays and neuters, to major abdominal surgery and fractured bone repair. We do not consider any procedure to be routine and strive to perform all surgery with your pet's safety and comfort in mind. (Please visit the anesthesia section listed under services) We follow strict surgical protocols as established by AAHA guidelines.

• All of our surgeries are performed by a veterinarian licensed in Delaware (as required by state law) and continuously monitored by an assistant.


• A sterile instrument pack and supplies are used for each patient. The packs are not shared between patients.


• Pain management is not an option. Each patient will receive customized multi modal pain control based on the procedure performed.

We have relationships with several referral centers for complex or thoracic surgical procedures requiring a board certified surgeon.
